Lecture slides: The slideshow from my kidney development lecture is available here in Open Document format, readable by LibreOffice and OpenOffice: these packages are free in the full sense of the word and run on BSD, Linux, OSX, Solaris and Windows. You can also download the slideshows in pdf format from here. The slides never had anything to do with Powerpoint, so please do not e-mail to ask for 'the original Powerpoints', because they do not exist.

Example lecture notes - the purpose of these example lecture notes is to indicate the extent of the material I would expect you to take from the lecture. They are provided because I am somewhat concerned by the very sketchy notes that some students seem to be making.

This is nothing specifically to do with the course, but if you are interested in running your own computer using Free software, you may find this pdf useful.
